Of course, depending on your requirements, we are always willing to assist and offer our customers specific variants that meet company standards or are based on local legislation.

When should invoices be paid?

Advance payment – before dispatch.
Deferred payment – depends on the customer account. Please check with customer service if in doubt.

What happens in the event of a delivery delay?

Catequip is not responsible for delays caused by unforeseen events (e.g. supply chain disruptions, strikes). If a delay is temporary, the delivery schedule will be adjusted. If delays make the performance of the contract unreasonable for the customer, the customer may terminate the contract.

What happens if Catequip is unable to deliver?

If delivery becomes impossible due to unforeseen circumstances, Catequip may terminate the contract. The customer will be informed immediately and reimbursed if necessary.

What should the customer do if they notice a defect?

The customer must inspect the delivered goods immediately and report any defects in writing without delay. Hidden defects must be reported within one year of the transfer of risk.

What is Catequip's obligation with regard to subsequent delivery?

If the first subsequent delivery fails, the customer may request a price reduction or terminate the contract.

What are the deadlines for claims for defects?

Claims for defects expire after one year. Exceptions apply in cases of deliberate intent, fraudulent concealment of defects, or personal injury.

Does Catequip retain ownership of the delivered goods?

Yes, until all payments have been made in full. If the customer does not pay, Catequip may reclaim the goods without a separate cancellation notice.

Which law governs these terms and conditions?

French law applies and disputes will be settled in the jurisdiction where Catequip has its registered office. In case of discrepancies, the French version of the general terms and conditions shall prevail.

What is your return policy for business orders?

Returning goods subject to a complaint:
Goods subject to a complaint may only be returned to Catequip with authorisation or acknowledgement of a warranty claim.

Where can I find the technical specifications for Catequip equipment?

The documents are either stored in a download section on each piece of equipment's product page, or please contact our technical department to obtain the correct information by email: sav@catequip.com

How can I pay in advance?

For any advance payment, please contact our customer service department.

What are the pricing conditions applicable to purchases?

Prices are net and include packaging, transport, postage and insurance. Price adjustments may apply if delivery takes place more than four months after the conclusion of the contract or when we ship outside the EU countries.

What are the delivery terms?

We mainly deliver within the European Union. Outside the EU, we generally ship to the United Kingdom, Norway and Switzerland.
For deliveries to other countries, please always contact our customer service department in advance! Deliveries are made from Catequip's head office, unless otherwise agreed. The risk is transferred to the customer upon handover to a carrier or freight company.

Can Catequip make partial deliveries?

Yes, partial deliveries are permitted if they meet the contractual objective and if the rest of the order will still be delivered.

What is Catequip's liability in the event of damage?

Catequip is liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence. Liability is limited to foreseeable losses in the event of breach of contract. Catequip is not liable for damage to other property belonging to the customer, unless otherwise provided by law.

What should be done if a defect is found in a delivery made by a third party?

If the goods are delivered to a third party on the customer's instructions, that third party shall assume the obligation to inspect and report defects on behalf of the customer.

When can the customer terminate the contract?

The customer may only terminate the contract if Catequip is responsible for a breach of its obligations. In the event of defects, the statutory provisions shall apply.

Can the customer return defective goods?

Goods can only be returned with authorization from Catequip or upon acknowledgment of a warranty claim. Please contact our customer service department in this case.

How is data processed under these conditions?

All data is stored in accordance with legal requirements and may be shared with third parties if necessary for the performance of the contract.
